As series editor of Cash in the Attic, Simon is the liaison with BBC Daytime and oversees a team of twenty. He also wrote and oversaw two acclaimed Leopard documentary series, Evacuees Reunited with Michael Aspel (ITV1) and Found with Kate Adie (BBC1).
Simon's fifteen years as a programme maker involve live, factual and factual entertainment, with an affinity for archive. As series producer, he managed 40 hours of NBC's Access Hollywood UK edition (Living) and 20 hours of lifestyle for Discovery Health. Producer/director credits include Spendaholics, Freaky Eaters & Can Fat Teens Hunt? (all BBC3), Jordan & Peter, Premiere Bond - Die Another Day and Screen Tests of the Stars (all ITV1), Vinnie's Football Shorts (Sky 1) and Ann Maurice - Interior Rivalry (Five). During two years on ITV1's This Morning, he gallery produced thirty editions, and started out as a documentary researcher for BBC, GMTV and L!VE TV.
